The foot of the bed is reinforced to allow sitting without any fear of damage or collapse.  With a normal divan sleeping height of 55cm the lampo mechanism is the closest thing to the properties of a normal divan within the confines of a normal settee or sofa and comes with a 10 year guarantee.
